Sharp knives every 2 weeks!
All sharp knives are delivered off a Sysco truck every two weeks. The dull knives are returned in the same packaged they are delivered in via any USPS outgoing mail. Outsourcing a sharpening service and not requiring a chef/cook staff to sharpen their own knives reduces insurance liabilities.
USA Sharp's sharpening service has been created by collaborating with executive chefs across the region both at Sysco and in the field at the request of customers over the years.
The chefs interested in the service are aligned with the fact that the dull knives need to be accounted for and returned as part of the rotation. Our chefs see a tremendous value with stainless steel knife rack provided keeping the knives organized for safety, sanitary and kitchen procedure.
USA Sharp's system gives back to the community donating out of use cutlery and equipment to major food banks which are forwarded along to soup kitchens and food pantries across the region.
